The training for certification as a pharmacy analyst is a three part process. Licensing requires mandatory accredited education hours in a pharmacy expert program in addition to a GED or high school diploma. The requirement is certification under the Accredidation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or a training course under the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Another option is the completion of a minimum of 240 hours of instruction in a degree program of pharmacy. Students will then need to complete a self-query report and fingerprints to the Board of Pharmacy.
